a little bummed

I’m a little bummed, due to a busy weekend I didn’t get my intended exercises in! yuck! Starting Thursday I had to leave the house by 7:30 (very early to be out the door for me!) and continued on the run all day and into Friday. I did get a bit of exercise in Karate on Th but not the full effect.  Friday was another day on the run decorating the church, attending a Valentine party & then back to the church to help at Agape Dinner Theater. The plan was to be back home and run again on Saturday. Sadly, my poor little man became sick overnight! My tummy was also unsettled all day so no running on Sat. Again – I had best of intentions Sunday morning. I set the alarm to run before church, however the boys were sleeping SO good and I didn’t want to wake them earlier than needed. The trick about this is that my treadmill is in m bedroom & Garrett was in our bed b/c of his tummy. If Garrett is still asleep after 7am he must really need it. At least that is my usually thought, he is an early bird & would be off and running at 5:30 am if I let him! So I decided to wait and do it in the afternoon. However, it was early & I wasn’t thinking properly – we had afternoon plans! Bummer! I do feel the effects of not intentionally exercising for 3 days. I missed Fri, Sat & Sun – yikes! The only good thing is that I was very busy and up & around everywhere!

So the plan to get back to it – run before cub scouts today! Really I will!

<10.8 # WW week 4

yay! i hit 10 pounds and 5% goal. Next up – 10%.  I have consistently lost 2.6 or 2.8 each week. I’m hoping to keep up the momentum and most of all to continue my daily exercising! I actually haven’t kept up w my points for each meal & day lately – SO I know that my exercises is what is giving me the best results. So what else does this tell me, that if I would keep a better eye on all intake I would do much better. I doing fairly well for my choices but there is the occasionalpizza, burrito, girl scout cookie, etc.

My goal this week is to keep up better with my food journal & make the better choice each time we eat. I can do this – this is the year that I lose the weight & actually keep it off! I have lost this too many times to keep this up. It only gets harder as I get a bit older and I work too hard each time to get it back down. This is it!

I’m praying for my girls to keep up the great work! We all had a good week!

keep it going

I kept my running up all weekend! yay! that’s 2 weekends now that I haven’t gotten off routine. I’m praising God for the new will power that I have.

Tomorrow will be weigh in #4 at WW. I’m praying it goes well! My scale shows it down but it’s not official yet.

Another friend started WW with us last week. I’m excited that the 4 of us can support and pray for each other. Many friends are also making healthier choices and doing great! I’ll keep my girls in my prayers!

I’ve gotten my miles in everyday! yay!

3 miles at day each day since Thursday. Prior to that I was about every other day. Monday Garrett & I went to the park to walk & play and Tuesday we played basketball – on top of my own exercise.  Karate is cancelled for tomorrow but we’ll still do it here at home with the DVD and I’ll hop back on the treadmill.

I’m just trying to get moving someway EVERYday!

ww #3

I was down 2.8 this week – at least I’m consistent!

My week is going well with good choices & I’ve gotten in exercise each day. Just gotta keep moving forward and down on the scale! ;o)

i did it!

I actually worked out this weekend! I’ve been trying to keep up my routines over the weekends and it rarely happens. However, I got my miles in Fri, Sat and today! Yay! I also did karate yesterday, bonus!

I’m looking forward to another good week. My energy is getting better and I’m feeling much better each day!

Week 1 on WW -2.6

Week 2 on WW  -2.8

Week 3 -  I weigh on Tuesdays, but I’m pretty sure I’m down again! :o )

Small amounts, but in the right direction.

on the run

I’m moving again! yay! I’ve been MUCH better this month getting in some intentional exercise daily. I’ve used the Wii games some days and the treadmill. I’ve run a 1 – 2 1/2 on the days on the treadmill. This will be our 4th week in karate too!

The plan this week:

M- treadmill

T – Wii video

W- treadmill

TH – karate

Fri – treadmill

Sat- Wii game with family

weekly meal plan

Breakfasts – Fiber One bars, Oatmeal, Turkey sausage & egg wrap, Protein shakes, egg omelet w veggies

Dinners – Protein shakes, stew, bean chili, sandwiches, salad

Lunches – Chicken n’ rice, Turkey burgers, Chicken enchiladas, Chicken salad sandwiches, Turkey sandwiches, flat bread pizzas, veggie and side salad with most meals

Lunch is dinner this week…. I’ll confirm how it all ends up but this is on the menu for now with the supplies I have on hand.

Getting back to it

Although I have done okay during the last few weeks, I haven’t tried to stay on any plan. First off I was sick for almost 1 1/2 weeks and only ate what I could and then right after I started gearing up and getting busy for the Holidays. In the aftermath, I am still down on my weight which is good considering – however it’s just about where it was. So – no gain, no loss. I have new Wii Fitness game that I dying to get started on! I love the Wii Fit but kind of got distracted and I’m ready to be motivated and moving again! One of my friends has started Weight Watchers and is doing great. I had planned to start with her but it was right when I became sick and didn’t. So I have pulled my books out today and will start keeping tally! The accountability of a friend, the ease of the WW system and hopefully with some new fuel for fitness I will start moving in the downward direction again soon!
